Wood Leaf
MAB uses 100% natural wood veneers, which implies thar there may be variations in colour tone and pattern according to the bach used. For this reason and adding the temporal distance, the colour tone of the sample can be different from the colour tone of the piece.
The colors and wood veneers available are shown in our MAB Samples.
*We advise that whenever it is necessary to produce a piece of furniture to be combined with others previously produced, a color sample to be sent to the factory to match the colour tone as much as possible. Complaints or returns of pieces are not accepted because they are in a different color from the existing pieces.
Some collections are not produced in all wood veneers. In case of doubt, after consulting the actual price list, contact MAB Sales.
*We warn that direct exposure to sunlight may cause color variations.
Wood veneers are categorized in two possible categories, Special Wood 1 and 2.
Lacquer
MAB uses a lacquering process that combines several layers with several days of drying, providing a distinct final result.
The available colors are presented in the MAB Samples.

Metals
MAB always uses a stainless steel base, with three possible finishing categories, Metal Group 0, 1 and 2.
Silver and Gold Leaf
Some items in the price list have the option of finishing the fronts in silver or gold leaf. This option has an added cost over the price of lacquered fronts.
MAB, as a rule, dows not manufacture an entire piece in silver/gold leaf, due to its lower resistance when compared to other finishes, such as wood and lacquer.
The silver/gold leaf is applied by hand, so a surface canoot be uniform due the natural characteristics of the leaf and the artisanal way in which it is apllied. Stains, reflections, folds, or shines are natural characterísticas and for these reasons, complaints are not accepted except for pieces with knocks or bumps when unpacked and checked at the time of unloading the goods.
Stones and Ceramic
MAB uses marble stone slabs in several pieces of its collection, however, as it is a natural product, it may not be possible to guarantee the same vein design from slab to slab.
MAB uses ceramic slabs in several pieces of its collection, however, as it is a product produced in lots, there might be a slight variation in color between production series.
In both cases, the stones and ceramics are sold in the format of large slabs, which requires the purchase of the entire slab. The waste charge fee will be charged to the customer unless it is used as a standard finish in a specific piece.
Fabrics
Standard fabrics are available at MAB Fabric Samples, duly categorised.
It is possible to work COM fabrics sent by the customer as long as the fabric is fire retardant. Any duty charges incurred by customs will be charged to the client. If the fabric being used is narrower than 140cm width ir the fabric has a fabric repeat, please consult the MAB team for the correct meterage required because the amount of fabric calculated in the price list is based on the width of 140cm and the fabric repeat is equal to 0.
Pieces with two different fabrics have a 5% increase over the price list value. This is because two fabrics have a higher consumption of waste. This additional value is excluded in case they are COM fabrics sent by the customer.
There is a wide variety of fabrics on the market, with very unique characteristics. These will allow you to achieve a final upholstery and look with different aspects. Often, the sample fabric is completely different when applied to the piece. MAB rejects responsibility for the COM fabric selected by the customer.
MAB does not accpet responsibility for COM fabrics sent by the customer. Professional customers are asked to select fabrics that allow a good upholstery application and that do not cause problems in handling. Stains, transport marks, or manufacturing defects will not be MAB's responsibility.
Natural Leather
It is possible to upholster in natural leather whenever requested by the customer. However, the client must understand that it is only possible to buy an entire piece of leather as a minimum, and there may be waste that will be charged to the customer.
